Sascha De la Sabia

Sascha has lived in Durham since 2022 but hails from Washington, D.C. An avid traveler, they’ve lived in 5 states and 4 countries, and want to explore so much more of the world. Fluent in 4 languages, Sascha loves connecting with people and is excited to welcome you at Auroraflow’s front desk.

As a queer Afrolatiné Caribbean person, Sascha is passionate about uplifting underrepresented voices. Prior to working at Auroraflow, they dedicated their career as an academic to educating others about Black culture in Germany. Now, they support the local community in Durham through working as a perfumer at Bright Black, a Black-owned business founded in Durham, and by teaching languages online through their own business, Language Leveled.
