30 min
Reiki is a gentle Japanese energy practice offered fully clothed, with light touch or hands held just above the body. Rather than working the muscles, the session invites the nervous system out of a stress response and into rest, where the body can settle and rebalance on its own.
It is a welcoming option when hands-on tissue work is not the right fit — during illness or recovery, after injury or surgery, through grief or burnout, or any time a lighter, quieter session is what your body is asking for.
Sessions are 30 minutes and can be booked on their own or added onto other bodywork.

FAQ
Common questions
What actually happens in a Reiki session?
You stay fully clothed and rest on the massage table. Your practitioner works with light touch, or with their hands held just above the body, moving through a series of positions. Many clients feel warmth, tingling, or a wave of calm; some fall asleep. There is nothing you need to do.
How long is a session?
Reiki appointments are 30 minutes. Reiki can also be added onto other bodywork — just ask when you book.
Who offers Reiki at Auroraflow?
Maya Freelon and Eri Pinto both offer Reiki. Eri is a Second Degree Reiki practitioner, and Maya is certified in Reiki alongside yoga and Ashiatsu.
Is Reiki a good fit if I can’t receive massage right now?
Yes. Because Reiki uses light touch or no touch at all, it is often a good option during illness or recovery, after an injury or surgery, or any time traditional massage is not comfortable or advisable. Let your practitioner know what is going on so they can adapt.
