Sascha De la Sabia

Sascha has lived in Durham since 2022 but hails from Washington, D.C. An avid traveler, they've lived in 5 states and 4 countries, and want to explore so much more of the world. Fluent in 4 languages, Sascha loves connecting with people from all over.

As a queer Afrolatiné Caribbean person, Sascha is passionate about uplifting underrepresented voices. Prior to working at Auroraflow, they dedicated their career as an academic scholar to educating others about Hip-Hop and Black culture in Germany. Now, they support the local community in Durham through working as a perfumer at Bright Black, a Black-owned business founded in Durham, and by teaching languages online through their own business, Language Leveled.
